The HKSKH Provincial Education Day Evensong for the school year 2023-2024 took place on 13th January 2024 at Holy Trinity Cathedral. It was a meaningful occasion with the presence of Ms. Vicky Law, our principal, Ms. Shera Wu, the head of the Christian Education Committee and the Religious Studies and Ethics Department, as well as Simeon Suen from 5D, our dedicated student representative, representing our school at the service.

The solemn service gathered Anglican school supervisors, principals, teachers, students, and others. It commenced with a procession of banners representing the participating schools. The service followed the choral form, adhering to the order of worship outlined in the Book of Common Prayer.

The service was gracefully presided over by the Very Revd. Franklin Lee, our senior school Chaplain. In his sermon, he emphasized the importance of an educational initiation, reminding us that all students deserve love, as Jesus Christ loves us unconditionally. It is through God's boundless love for humanity that Jesus declared, "I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly."

The Very Revd. Lee also urged principals and teachers to cultivate a caring and compassionate environment that fosters students' pursuit of dreams and self-fulfillment. His teachings serve as a reminder for us to emulate Jesus Christ's example of love within our school community.

During the service, all school supervisors, principals, and teachers solemnly vowed, seeking God's guidance and assistance, to serve as humble servants. It is our shared commitment to manifest God's love by leading children onto the right path and nurturing students, just as Jesus, with his life, bestowed life upon his disciples.

May our school continue to uphold these sacred principles in our educational journey, guided by God's grace and love.
