Another year passes and another year of our Form 6 seniors give their farewells to BHJS. On 26th February, the F6 Farewell Assembly marked the last school day for Form 6 as they entered their study leave amidst the DSEs.
The Farewell Assembly was full of emotion for the F6s imminent departure. The highlight of the event was without a doubt the touching videos that each Form 6 class had produced themselves. The videos recalled the good times they had, their strong bonding and their teachers thoughts from their three years of high school together. At the end of each video, their class had representatives thank their class and subject teachers for their longtime dedication and education. The departing seniors also shared a wise message to their juniors — make the best of your time in secondary school and leave no regrets. It was a heartwarming and tear-jerking moment for all in attendance.
After the class videos, a video of blessing from teachers, of both current and past, was shown. All teachers gave their heartfelt congratulations and encouragement to the Form 6, departed teachers have also specially filmed themselves sending their messages of strength and remembrance of their wonderful time teaching the Form 6 in the past.
The assembly ended in a prayer led by Principal Ms Law, and wished the Form 6 students strength through their journey, especially on their road to their soon DSEs. The Parent-Teacher Association gave out thoughtful gift bags, which contained all their love and care to the Form 6 as they overcome their tribulations ahead.
We thank Principal Ms Law, the Guidance Ambassadors, the Student Union, the PTA and all teachers who showed their support to the Form 6 students. We extend our best wishes to the Form 6 students, hoping they receive all the guidance and perseverance they need as they navigate their paths outside the walls of BHJS.
