Last week, our school held its annual book fair, and the Commercial Press brought a wide variety of books. The auditorium was filled with the wonderful smell of books! Did everyone manage to find a book they loved?
This year's book fair had an impressive selection, from novels to Japanese translated works, reference books, Chinese classics, economics, and art books. There was truly something for everyone, making it quite overwhelming!
What made this year special was that we invited Dr. Cheung Ngo, a psychiatrist, to our school. He held a writer's talk on February 19th, where he shared his valuable experiences as a psychiatrist. He discussed topics like depression, ADHD, and psychiatric medications, and patiently answered students' questions.
The last day of the fair (February 22nd) coincided with Parents' Day for grades F1 to F5, which attracted many parents to come and visit. That day, reference books became the hot sellers!
We really appreciate all the support and help from our classmates for this book fair, and we hope this event encourages everyone to read more!
