From September 11th to 12th, the Consultation and Election of the proposed Student Union (SU) cabinet Contrail has been successfully completed.

On Consultation Day, the former SU cabinet Epiphany hosted a debate with the core members of Contrail. Both prepared and unseen questions were asked. In the final section, students from the audience were given the opportunity to voice out their concerns to the proposed SU cabinet. Contrail displayed great confidence in the consultation and presented their ideas skilfully.

Election Day was held one day after the consultation. The blank ballots were sent out to the homerooms during class teacher period and students were asked to cast their votes in the form of ‘Confident’ or ‘No Confidence’ votes as Contrail is the only proposed cabinet this academic year. The votes were counted by the effective cabinet Epiphany.

Contrail was voted confident by a majority vote of 507 confident votes. We congratulate Contrail as they assume the position of BHJS Student Union of the 2024-2025 school year. We look forward to seeing their success in organizing events and providing services to Jubileans throughout the academic year.
