Congratulations to the remarkable class of 2023 and all the exceptional honor students! November 18th was a momentous day for us at BHJS as we celebrated the Annual Speech Day and witnessed the Alumni Recognition and Homecoming Ceremony, along with the Opening Ceremony of Chan Chee Yum Activity Centre Upgrading Project.
We were honored to have Professor Edwin Chan Ho-yin, an esteemed alumnus of our school (class of 1990) and Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, as our guest speaker for Speech Day 2023. His speech offered meaningful well wishes to our Form 6 students. We also welcomed Chan Man Fong, an alumna and former Chinese language teacher, as a guest of honor.
During the Alumni Recognition and Homecoming Ceremony, we acknowledged the achievements and contributions of our alumni from the graduating years 1998, 1993, 1988, 1983, 1978, 1973 and 1968.
Additionally, we held the Opening Ceremony of Chan Chee Yum Activity Centre Upgrading Project, dedicated in memory of our former Principal. The ceremony included an opening prayer, an introduction of Mr. Chan Chee Yum, a vote of thanks from a student representative, a ribbon-cutting, and photo sessions.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the alumni and teachers who attended and organized these remarkable events. Our sincerest wishes go to the graduates for a future filled with success and cherished memories.
