After a five-year hiatus, the much-anticipated Swimming Gala made its triumphant return on 5th October, 2023 at the Kwun Tong Swimming Pool, igniting excitement and anticipation throughout the entire school community.
The gala began with an opening ceremony led by Principal Ms. Law, setting the stage for a day of unforgettable moments. The pool turned into a canvas where our swimmers showcased their incredible abilities, leaving an indelible mark on our collective memory. Each stroke represented their relentless training and pursuit of excellence, resulting in new personal records and breathtaking moments.
The inter-house relay events added another layer of excitement to the gala. Students passionately rallied behind their teams, with house captains raising flags to motivate the swimmers. The highly anticipated Teacher-Student Relay showcased athleticism and sportsmanship as teachers, house captains, SU representatives, and prefects joined forces.
We extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this event, including the swimmers, teachers, BHJS janitors, and student helpers who ensured the smooth running of the Swimming Gala.
