Jubileans have achieved a remarkable result in the Hong Kong Student Service Leader Award, which is initiated and organized by Dream Compassioneers, and supported by Agency of Volunteer Services and other various organisations. The judging panel includes Hon. Bernard Charnwut Chan, GBM, GBS, JP, the Convenor of the Non-Official Members of the Executive Council and Chairperson of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, Ms. Sung Yu Yan, the Chief Executive Officer of Agency for Volunteer Service, Mr. Fong Yick Jin, the chairperson of Committee on Home-school Co-operations and other professors and principals.
Among nearly 200 candidates, 4C Kelly Hui, 5D Shiny Wong and 6D Maggie Yip have been chosen and awarded with a Certificate of merit. More excitingly, 5D Chloe Wong and 6C Nicole Chan have been selected as the finalists, who will continuously participate in the service projects organized by Dream Compassioneers. In addition, students joined the service talk and shared their opinions with other candidates. The finalists also engaged in the thinking-design workshop held in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. They will organize more service programs together with the students in Wee Yee Sun College of CUHK in the upcoming days. Students were benefited with widened horizons and inspirations.
