Two Form 5 Information and Communication Technology students, Chan Shing and Leung Chi Fung, participated in the "IT Volunteer Service" organized by the Youth IT Ambassador Award Scheme (YITAA) and the Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council on April 25, 2025. Together with student volunteers from other schools, they successfully assisted seniors in learning digital technology at the Sham Shui Po Elderly Community Service Center. Activities included using the Joyage app to write mood diaries and view health information videos, as well as experiencing AI software tools to generate personality photos and chat with AI. The event enhanced seniors’ understanding and application of technology while fostering intergenerational integration. Through their roles as teaching assistants, the students improved their teaching and communication skills. The event was enjoyable and impactful. Thanks to all participants and the Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council for their contributions and support!
