|Embryo of Innovation
Two notable alumni, Henry Wong and Chan Ho-yin Edwin, shared how BHJS inspired their innovation. While at BHJS, Henry was once on the verge of being expelled for his mischievous deeds, whereas Edwin was a student who never failed his teachers. This initial difference aside, both have crafted distinguished careers with their innovative minds shaped by BHJS.
Henry is now a renowned venture capitalist, and Edwin a reputable scholar specialized in genetic medicine.
|The Door to Christianity
Lam Ching-choi, a faithful Christian and committed physician, attributes his success today to his alma mater for bringing Christianity into his life, and making all those changes that re-shaped and re-defined him.
|Memories that Endure
The memories created on the campus of BHJS never cease to linger in the minds of Lau Sin-yi, a registered social worker, and Serene Lam, a fresh law graduate of HKU. Their enduring attachment to the school translates to memories that never learn to fade…
|An Ethos of Empathy
BHJS’s insistence on instilling empathy in all Jubileans is not in vain. Years after graduating from their alma mater, Wong Kwok-ying, a specialist in the financial realm, and Professor Chan Ho-yin Edwin, an expert in genetic medicine, still conform to the very ethos of serving anyone in need.
|Unremitting Quest for Growth
Seven members in Chang Che-son’s family were brought up at BHJS. Their impressive loyalty was founded upon Chang’s belief - the school’s whole-person development, Christian atmosphere, and devoted teachers are conducive to healthy upbringing of young souls.
Five decades after BHJS’s inception witnessed its perennial adherence to providing fine education and nurturing humility in the young.
